Hey there welcome back!

If you don’t know, this is a blog dedicated to following.  Specifically following a Christian’s life as he tries to come closer to God.  So I am not really into keeping up hype or getting the most followers, I just write about my experiences and what I’m learning.

So at the start of the year I felt compelled to read the gospels.  I read Matthew twice and read through Luke excited to then go through the book of Acts.  Now I am about halfway through Acts and I felt compelled to go back to read Mark.  Literally guilt came over me as I turned the pages of Acts. 

So as of today, I AM GOING TO SPEND THE ENTIRE YEAR IN THE GOSPELS.  This may sound crazy to you, but believe me it sounds crazier to me!

For the rest of this year, 10 and some months to go, almost three times a day- I’m going to be in the Gospels.  Sounds fun right?

While I won’t challenge you to read the Gospels year long with me, I invite you to pick up your Bible and spend time with Jesus.  Study what he said and did.  I know after a weeks in Matthew my thinking was infused with Jesus’ words.
